One of them suggests that it is necessary to create special underwater drones for fishing, equipped with sonars. At the same time, the second one is based on the use of ordinary copters. Both approaches have emerged and succeeded. Even more importantly, commercial models have already appeared.
Which drone for fishing is the best?
So far, it is not a question that a drone for fishing can fish on its own. A human being must control it, while the drone acts as an assistant. The drone can carry out the feeding of fish, dropping food from a small height into the water. Capable of working underwater, the drone can search for jambs of fish with sonar, lure them and transmit a video signal to the surface.
The models, which can work underwater, are much more expensive than conventional drones. They cannot fly because they are, in fact, small autonomous submersibles. They are equipped with unique cameras and radars, high-capacity batteries, and can even be powered by cable.
As for ordinary drones, everything is a bit easier with them. The drone should be equipped with an FPV camera, GPS, and cargo-carrying device for fish feeding. Since the transfer of payload is assumed, the drone should be large enough. A large battery will allow the Copter to spend 20-30 minutes in flight, and during this time, he will have time to drop the food in the right place/places. The Flight by Points and Flight to Object functions will come in handy. Using them, you can first create a flight plan and then launch the drone on a given route.
